We're excited to announce Zubin Damania, MD as our keynote speaker for our 2nd annual Spotlight on Population Health awards event (SOPHi)!
Dr. Damania, also known as ZDoggMD writes, performs, and produces award-winning medical rap videos that educate and entertain. Zubin is also a highly sought-after thought leader and speaker; he was a 2013 TedMed presenter.
John Craik had this to say about this year’s awards ceremony, "We knew it would be very difficult to match the excitement and inspiration we had at the SOPHi event in 2015; Mayor Mick Cornett is a virtual rock star in population health. We have, however, topped it by bringing in a real rock star in ZDoggMD. People should check him out on YouTube, then hurry to register with P²."
The event will be hosted at Buffalo RiverWorks, October 14, 2016 from 9am to noon. Nominations will be accepted for the SOPHi awards starting March 8th on the P² website. We really want people to think outside of the box. Think of projects at your churches or favorite nonprofit from different sectors (think education, employment, housing, transportation, etc.).
