Dr. Annie Chen at the University of Washington School of Medicine is conducting a study on “body listening."
The study takes the form of a collaborative blog with a ten-week Guided Exploration of different aspects of body listening. During this ten week period, they will explore body listening and other related concepts, such as “body awareness.” This site aims to leverage patient experience to forward our knowledge of “body listening” and related concepts such as “body awareness”, and in addition, to create a resource to help people build their own skills in these areas.
The stories that you share may be helpful for the healthcare community and for other patients to understand more about the information you need to get where you are now, and the information you still need. The aim is to find a way to work together to improve people’s ability to manage their health everywhere.
Participate as little or as much as you are able. But every activity will be richer with the addition of your voice.
