On Friday, December 13, 2013 Dr. John M. Flack presented at P² Collaborative's last quarterly meeting of the year. His presentation, Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Treatment of Hypertension, was sponsored by the American Heart Association, BlueCross BlueShield of Western New York, Independent Health and Univera Healthcare.
John M. Flack, MD, MPH, FAHA, FACP, FASH is an American Society of Hypertension-certified Specialist in Clinical Hypertension, as well as a National Institutes of Health-funded clinical and translational researcher.
Repeatedly named one of the “Best Doctors in America,” Dr. Flack serves as Chairman of the Department of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Translational Research and Clinical Epidemiology in the Department of Medicine at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He maintains an active hypertension practice and is also the Specialist in Chief for Internal Medicine for the Detroit Medical Center.
Dr. Flack is an expert in cardiovascular diseases and specializes in the area of hypertension in minority populations. He is frequently invited to lecture to various health professionals nationally and internationally.
