Join us in celebrating National Public Health Week (NPHW) from April 3 - 7, 2017 and become part of a growing movement to create the healthiest nation. Changing our health means ensuring conditions that give everyone the opportunity to be healthy. In April, we will be involved in events to support NPHW.
Regional Breastfeeding Gathering Event
On April 3, 2017, the NYS Department of Health Western Region will host its Regional Breastfeeding Gathering with stakeholders ranging from Local Health Departments to various community based organizations. We were invited to participate in this event and Karen Hall and Clement Nsiah will discuss how to use data for decision-making and grant writing. Interested in joining us? We will be at the Monroe Community Hospital along with our partner Common Ground Health (formerly Finger Lakes Health System Agency). Space is limited so please RSVP to Lucy Coady, RN, MSN, CNM at 716.847.4528 or email email@example.com.
D'Youville College Participates in NPHW
Our partners at the D’Youville College Health Administration Department will also be hosting a series of topics for NPHW. We have been invited to present on April 4th from 10am - 11am in the Madonna Lounge. Karen Hall and Clement Nsiah will present on how data can be used to drive public health decisions using our Keys to Health Data platform. Click here to view the flyer.
