In December, the P² Collaborative of WNY Board of Directors voted to approve the addition of Nancy H. Nielsen, MD, PhD, to their 2016 Board of Directors.
Nancy H. Nielsen is senior associate dean for health policy and clinical professor at the University at Buffalo’s Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She is also clinical professor in the School of Public Health and Health Professions at UB. Dr. Nielsen is a nationally recognized authority in medicine and an outspoken advocate for the uninsured and affordable health insurance for all Americans. She is a sought-after media commentator on issues of public health, physician responsibility and the need for high quality healthcare. Nielsen holds a doctorate in microbiology from Catholic University in Washington, D. C. and a medical degree from UB. She is an internist and infectious disease specialist.
