In partnership with the Niagara Falls Boys and Girls Club, Catholic Health Mount St. Mary's Hospital's Neighborhood Health Center, Community Partners of WNY, and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Niagara County, P² Collaborative is launching a program in September for kids at the Neighborhood Health Center in Niagara Falls.
Nurturing Healthy Children is a year-long program that empowers and supports children (and their families) as they make lifestyle changes that improves their health. Through three phases, families will learn how to plan and prepare easy, low-cost, nutritious meals and how to make physical activity a habit. Children will have access to participate in inner-club sports (baseball, hockey, volleyball, flag football, basketball, and softball).
Children will also receive a FREE activity tracker and other prizes for participating. Prizes will be determined at the end of the program to fit each child's needs. If you are interested in learning more, contact Clement Nsiah at firstname.lastname@example.org.
